This is a Rare. Top Quality, High Performance, Full Tang Combat/Utility Knife,.that can be compared to Randall, Probis, etc It is handmade by Daniel M. Certo Bladesmith.
Individually hand ground from bars of Premium Grade Cutlery Steel. ( no laser cutouts or pre made blade blanks). In house heat treating, tempering, and testing for strength and durability allow me to offer you a knife that looks good and won't fail you when you need it , even under the most extreme conditions.
100% handmade in my shop the knife was ground from a bar of 1/4" 5160 High Carbon, High strength steel OAL aprox.10.5 " with Blade 6 1/4" x 1/4" x 1 5/8" Steel guard silver soldered to the blade. Note: Blades are measured from rear of guard.

This knife is great for Aircrew Egress, Military , Survival, use.. A special grind inspired by the Probis M9 bayonet allows for a very strong sharp point which enhances penetrating capability and cutting ability while maintaining blade thickness. and strength.. top serration's are saw teeth and cut lots of stuff. the area behind the point is designed so that the knife can be struck with wood to aid in splitting small fire wood. The saw tooth serration's are effective for ripping through lots of stuff. etc, and will also cut through light metal sheeting and aircraft body's.
The knife is Zone Tempered, a process used by Japanese Samurai sword makers for thousands of years, results in a super strong blade, with spring temper in the spine and 58rc hardness on the cutting edge, This gives you a knife that resists breakage even with the application of great lateral forces,that will hold an edge well, and resharpen easily. Bead blast finish for low profile non glare , with darker gray areas highlighting the differential tempering

The almost indestructible Black Canvas Micarta handles , Snake Skin finish for great gripability, are attached with stainless bolts and accented with red spacers The knife is handsome, feels great in the hand, and is extremely durable. Hand stitched Pouch front, leather sheath included.

The knife's blend of simplicity, strength, and functional reliability, make for a great combat, bush, or camp knife. an excellent addition to your outdoor/military gear or knife collection.
