High Performance, Camp/Combat/Utility Knife,.that can be compared to
Probis, Randall, etc. Each knife is 100% handmade by me, in my shop
from the
finest materials available..
NOTE:the knife pictured is the 5" edition other blade lengths are available
nindividually hand ground
from bars of Premium Grade Cutlery Steel. ( no laser cutouts or pre
made blade blanks). In house heat treating, tempering, and testing for
strength and durability allow me to offer you a knife that looks good
and won't fail you when you need it , even under the most extreme
conditions.
100% handmade in my shop the knife is available in 5160 High
carbon,High strength steel or High Performance s30V stainless steel.
OAL aprox.10 " Blade 5" x 1/4" x 1 1/4"
This knife is zone tempered for incredible strength.. .. Zone
Tempering, a process used by Japanese Samurai sword makers for
thousands of years, results in a super strong blade, with spring temper
in the spine and 58rc hardness on the cutting edge, This gives you a
knife that resists breakage even with the application of great lateral
forces,that will hold an edge well, and resharpen easily. The Tanto
point provides amazingly accurate cutting and penetrating ability as
well as greatly reducing any chance of the point breaking. The hollow
ground edge provides unequaled slicing ability and is shipped razor
sharp. Black or Green, Canvas Micarta handles , smooth or Snake skin finish, both
Handsome and Durable are attached with two tone bolts and accented with
red spacers, Stainless lanyard tube.
The
M3T's blend of simplicity, strength, and functional reliability, make
for a great combat, bush, or camp knife. an excellent addition to your
outdoor/military gear or knife collection.
