Relentless Knives, have found their way all over the world.
In many places the term relentless
is more than a brand name on a knife. Websters
Dictionary defines the term re-lent-less;
Unmoved by love or pity: Unceasing, as without
tough word, for tough people, needing tough equipment.
Thanks to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and others, for
relentless pursuit of protecting freedom, and using Relentless
Knives to help them along their way.

under extreme conditions are what Relentless knives are all about. Some good
examples of this are tests to see if the blade
could support the weight of a grown individual,
and how well a knife would serve as an emergency
rope anchor. Now you are probably asking why the
heck would anyone ever use a knife for these tasks?
extreme situations sometimes require uncommon
used a sledge hammer to pound the knife into
a tree and stood on the top edge of the blade. No
movement at all. Next, I hammered
the knife into the tree at a 90 degree angle
to the ground and stood on the blade width wise.
time the knife did flex but returned true
once I stepped off. And just for the heck of
it, I did the same test while standing on one foot
on the handle area of the knife. This caused the
most flex in the blade but again it returned to
normal once I stepped off. Next
I moved to the cliff and drove the knife
into the base of a tree and tied some nylon rope
around the handle. I was then able to lean out over
the ledge using an emergency rappel technique.
Again, the knife did bend a little, but it returned
to normal once I eased up on the rope. The
knife served as a very stable anchor for this task.
Why use a knife for a rope
anchor? A very real example
of this would be a Bush Pilot who’s
crashes in the wilderness. Or just a hiker who has lost their way
in unfamiliar trails.
your knife to act as a rope anchor as you safely
lower yourself to the ground, descend a rock ledge,
etc. After living in Alaska for three years,
I can remember several similar situations with a

bottom line on all of these tests, and many
new ones in the future, is to ensure you are getting
the best tool for your money. While no knife
is indestructible, it is good to know that Relentless
knives withstand extreme abuse. Dan will
continue to develop new designs for different
applications, and I will continue to do my best to
ensure I abuse the knives so you don’t have

am working on NEW models for the 2008 catalog. You will see prototypes
and catalog variants in the next few months as I prepare NEW and
improved models for the catalog. Some present models will be canceled,
some will be improved, and of course some will stay as the reliable and
popular models they have been for years.
for 2008 Catalog
Not in our 2007
Catalog, this is a new combination of designs, that affords the
protection of a short sword and performance jungle machete. It was
thought that M4 Extreme might be extended, with the integral guard of
the M1i, (see my web site catalog)allowing the knife to be tethered to
the hand. This feature allows extreme hacking, and brush hogging
without the fear of the knife slipping out of the hand and being
dangerously propelled. This is a great knife for high adventure back
packing, and expeditions into uncharted territories where trails have
to be blazed rather than followed. The knife is light weight for it's
size, and Zone tempered for incredible strength.

Kill an American
missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a
report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer
of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.
an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let
everyone know what an American is so they would know when they found
one. (Good one, mate!!!!)
American is English, or French,
or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An
American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese,
Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or
American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage,
Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes
known as Native Americans.
American is Christian, or he could
be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in
America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America
they are free to worship as each of them chooses.
also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to
God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the
government and for God.
American lives in the most prosperous
land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be
found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God
given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.
American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other
nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in

years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people
to win back their country! As of the morning of September 11, Americans
had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
