Committed
to Excellence...... Designed for Maximum Efficiency
Tested by Professional Soldiers
Out
There
Relentless Knives, have found their way all over the world.
In many places the term relentless
is more than a brand name on a knife.
Websters
Dictionary defines the term
re-lent-less;
Unmoved by love or pity: Unceasing, as without
mercy. A
tough word, for tough people, needing tough equipment.
Thanks to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and others, for
their
relentless pursuit of protecting freedom, and using Relentless
Knives to help them along their way.
OH BTW......Santa is one of the above.....delivering toys to
every kid in the world on one night qualifys him for the title.
Merry Christmas , and if you have a problem with that..........
try it sometime....it's good clean fun, and Jesus is one of the Good guys.

Serrations testing
by: Maj
Ian Humphrey
Back in the 1980's serrations on the top edge of a knife became popular
until it was dicovered that they were not very effective........then they were more or less phased out.....
We are working hard to change that....not just by adding less than
useful serrations, but by testing every possible serration
configuration until we find ones that out perform all others.
This will make your knife twice as useful. Lot's of time, and trials go
into it....stay tuned as we are making progress.

Here is a story that's been circulating via email and submitted by: Lee Brewer

Marine
vs
Taliban
A
large group of Taliban soldiers are moving down a road when they hear a voice
call from behind a
sand-dune.
"One Marine
is better than ten Taliban."
The Taliban commander quickly sends 10 of
his best soldiers over the dune whereupon a gun-battle breaks out and
continues for a few minutes, then
silence.
The
voice then calls out, "One Marine
is better than a hundred Taliban
soldiers."
Furious,
the Taliban commander sends his next best 100 troops over the dune and
instantly a huge gunfight
commences.
After 10 minutes of battle, again silence.
The Marine calls
out, "One Marine is better than one thousand Taliban".
The
enraged Taliban Commander musters a thousand fighters and sends them over the
dune. Cannon, rocket and machine gun fire rings out as a huge battle is
fought. Then silence
Finally
one wounded Taliban fighter crawls back over the dune and with his dying words
tells his commander, "Don't
send any more men, its a trap.
There's
two of them.

After Action Review of Soldier’s Knife Loss
This is a brief After Action Review (AAR) to discuss the details of a
recent Relentless brand knife becoming lost in Afghanistan by an American
Soldier. The intent is to learn from the experience and to pass along ideas
to prevent similar losses from occurring in the future.
Background An American Soldier (we are keeping his identity off for security reasons) recently bought a Relentless M1i Interceptor to accompany him to a
deployment in Afghanistan.
He wore the knife inverted, in the provided
leather sheath with a Tek Loc fastener, on his body armor. He also wore a standard D ring carabineer on the same side of his knife to attach his weapon (single point harness style). While conducting nighttime training
operations in heavy snow fall, the weapon must have rubbed against the snap
and undid the retaining strap on the sheath. While the knife was dummy
corded to his vest, the cord was either cut or came undone. Once the
Soldier realized his lost, he returned to the area where the knife was lost
but was unable to recover it.
Learning Points
Th is is a very unfortunate situation that resulted in the loss of a valuable piece of equipment.
There was nothing defective with the sheath or
retaining strap, it simply became undone when the rifle came in contact with
the retaining strap snap. The single point harness that was used to secure
the rifle to the Soldier’s body armor is a popular and effective method of
carrying the weapon.
What I would suggest from this situation is whenever
you are using a single point carrying system that you do not use an inverted
sheath on the same side as the weapon. No matter what retaining system the
sheath has, there is always going to be a strong possibility that the weapon
will undue the retaining strap. If you want to carry your knife inverted,
then place it on your non-firing side. Another option would be to carry the
knife upright on your firing side. This way the knife will most likely not
fall out of the sheath if the retaining strap is accidentally undone.

I
am working on NEW models for the 2008 catalog. You will see prototypes
and catalog variants in the next few months as I prepare NEW and
improved models for the catalog. Some present models will be canceled,
some will be improved, and of course some will stay as the reliable and
popular models they have been for years.

Will my order be done before the due date........?
My delivery time is very short considering the large number of orders I
have, and this is because of the method I use when taking orders. If I
cannot complete the knife in 16 weeks or less I don't take the
order.....this mostly always works as I complete quite a few knives
each day.
So....your knife is on schedule, and, if I do complete it before the scheduled time I will let you know without delay.
 Thanks
for your patience and understanding here. Your knife, when complete,
will last a lifetime , and perhaps with a little care, century's
afterward.
The short time it takes me to complete the project is required to insure your knife is the best it can be.
Your questions, comments and further inquiry's are always
welcomed.

To
Kill an American
You
probably
missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a
report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer
of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.
So I just thought
I would write to let them know what an American is, so they would
know when they found one.
An
American is English, or French,
or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An
American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese,
Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or
Afghan.
An
American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage,
Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes
known as Native Americans.
An
American is Christian, or he could
be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in
America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America
they are free to worship as each of them chooses.
An
American is
also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to
God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the
government and for God.
An
American lives in the most prosperous
land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be
found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God
given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.
An
American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other
nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in
return.
When
Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20
years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people
to win back their country! As of the morning of September 11, Americans
had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
Americans
welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the
best music, the best food, the best services.
But
they also welcome the least.
The
national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your
tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the
homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built
America .
Some
of them were working in the Twin Towers the
morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families.
It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least
30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those
that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So
you can try to kill an
American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and
Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in
doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not
a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of
the human spirit of freedom Tiananmen Square, Taiwan independence , Falun Gong
.
