My knife is in it....LOL visit http://www.punisherknife.com I loved the movie.It was made by hard driving people about a hardened character. who refuses to ignore the darker side of realities we all face in today's world . He has perfected the job of human trash removal . The word RELENTLESS (Websters Dictionary defines the term) re-lent-less; Unmoved by love or pity: Unceasing, as without mercy. Fits this guy to a T. Some people can't stomach the truth that this character illustrates so well. Frank Castle is doing a job......he's doing it because a million others who 's job it really is ...are to soft, fat, corrupt , scared or lazy to do Justice. Frank does it without a mask or a cape, he says little about it because deep inside it hurts him to know that this is the only answer to a problem. Unfettered, the corrupt dish out untold human misery. Frank is the sin eater, the True Dark Knight. Unlike Batman, Superman, Spiderman and the rest of the comic crew, Frank Castle is a modern day Wyatt Earp. He promptly and effectively answers the call in the order received. When the smoke clears in the real human experience.....one comment remains... even though coined by a real life villain who's idea of right was on Jigsaw's side of the fence....... "Justice comes from the barrel of a gun".It's HARD, FAST and BRUTAL....but....TRUE. Could the movie have been better.........of course, and Micky Mouse could have been better too. I think some exceptionally vehement anti Punisher War Zone Movie reviews....are based on internal Cat Fighting in the movie business, and let's face it....Frank Castle is NOT Politically Correct. Thanks to Ray Stevenson, Lexi Alexander, Jon Barton and all for this Great Movie.

An Official Statement by: LEXI AlEXANDER "When I had to decide on an "official" Punisher knife for our movie, I chose a RELENTLESS knife out of thirty knives that were put in front of me. We all agreed it looked the best and felt most authentic for the Punisher. Then I inquired if I could possibly get the knife a few sizes bigger. Dan Certo of RELENTLESS KNIVES USA offered to produce a custom made knife for the PUNISHER. When it arrived, it was as if someone opened a jewelry box with a 5 karat diamond in it. The entire cast and crew stopped to admire it. Needless to say, Ray Stevenson aka Frank Castle was in heaven and we the filmmakers liked the knife so much, we gave it its own close up in the first five minutes of the movie. Here is what I wrote about the knife in some other places, and in answer to a few who said it's a big knife.....and not a combat knife. Well I make lots of various shapes and sizes, but the M4X Punisher knife would not only do the job seen in the movie, but lots of others. The shape of the blade as a Bolo. I say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of it. I live in the mountains....those nice places that people look at from the top or bottom and say how Beautiful.....but in between the top and bottom are places were men seldom go. The underbrush is as thick like a wall, and there are creatures that city folk never see like wild boar who love the thicket, so, a small knife is useless, and a machete is just to long and light. Those are the places this knife handles with ease. It's short enough to get some swing in tight spaces, heavy enough to easily cut through the toughest brush, vines and up to 4" trees with ease. Knives with the same intent but a different profile have been called Smatchets. You can dig a hole with the point if needed, and the point is not intended for penetration, it just follows the sweet spot....which if you know about swords, and longer knives is the just behind the place were the belly on that knife is the widest. the sweet spot is the place were most impact occurs, and on this particular knife is the strongest area of the blade. The teeth on the spine are also intended for use on brush, in places were you can't even stand up let alone swing your arm.......they have helped meand will anyone who ever finds them selves....Out There. The knife also is ground with a tri asymmetrical grind that creates a triangle in the spine of the blade ...this patent pending design results in a blade that is highly impervious to lateral force. It's also Zone tempered which also adds incredible strength. I've been hand making military combat knives that are in use world wide by Individual Soldiers, Police, Search and Rescue Team members, as well as Campers, Hikers Backpackers, Hunters, Farmers and Outdoor Adventurers through out the world. A few or more collectors have also decided to add Relentless Knives to their collection. So that's about it. The knife is what it is...... The fact that the PUNISHER got a hold if it is inconsequential, but Great fun,either in my version or the TOPs version. I turned down an offer to have it made the Chinese way, but I'm to American for my own good sometimes. The Tops knife is 100% made in the USA It's fully functional, plenty useful and fits the hand like a glove. Thanks to the people behind the scenes ( Jon Barton of Gunmetal Group)of this movie are Veteran Marines, Navy Seals, Army Rangers and more. They know their stuff. The Relentless M4X

I had the honor of testing this knife about a year ago. Dan didn't want to jinx the project, so he didn't tell me what it was for...just that i had to really abuse the knife to see how it handles and to try cutting differant things like coconuts and such. Now I see why! Read the report . If I had to describe the knife in two words it would be "Tactical Meatcleaver!"

     Relentless Knives most extreme design yet: the M4X.. My first impression of this knife is that it is more like a tactical meat cleaver than traditional knife. The blade is 8 inches long, and looks and feels a lot larger. This knife is designed for extreme use and I intended to test this as much as possible. Besides normal cutting and chopping duties, the M4X can also serve rather well as a weapon against two and four legged creatures.
First Impressions
     This is not a dainty knife! The entire blade is ¼” thick and made from clay tempered 5160 tool steel. Dan does all his own heat treating and uses the same techniques discovered by the samurai sword makers of Japan to create a differently tempered edge: hard at the edge to remain sharp longer, and softer along the spine to allow for extreme lateral forces without harming the steel (cheaper knives will break if you stand on them, not a Relentless knife). Besides the eight inch blade, the M4X features a short section of saw teeth, a large flat area for baton use, a unique lip along the top of the edge for gripping pot handles or pulling objects, and a hawk’s bill on the exposed butt of the knife to aid in maintaining blade control during snap cuts and heavy chopping. The M4X also features canvas micarta handles that offer a solid grip area and are impervious to the elements. The knife comes with a hand stitched leather sheath with large accessory pocket and split belt loops (to prevent the sheath from moving around your belt).
In the field
     Since this knife is designed for extreme use, I wanted to take it out on several outings to test its features. While this is a large knife, it rode comfortably on my belt during several hikes through the mountains. The large pocket on the sheath was a handy storage area for a sharpening rod, multi tool, or folding knife. While in the woods, I tested the knives on several different mediums. While this knife is a chopper at heart, it performed surprisingly well in regular cutting tasks. I first tested the edge on a sheet of paper and found the blade geometry to slice the paper like a razor. This same edge was no match for 550 cord, nylon braided and twisted rope, and ½ inch marine grade rope. The M4X also cut green and dry wood with little to no effort. The large handle area and top finger cutout allows the user to choke up on the blade and maintain a good level of control over the large blade.
     The M4X really shined in the chopping tasks. The included lanyard and handle design allows the knife to be a very effective snap cutter and it had no problem trimming branches and chopping down various sizes of saplings. When I used a baton, I was able to easily cut down small trees with no negative effect to the edge of the knife. The tanto like blade edge is also handy in digging tasks which could be helpful in survival and camp situations. The knife was also used to construct a basic shelter by chopping out notches along logs to secure them together. The knife is capable of being used as a draw knife with plenty of blade to leverage in order to strip bark off of logs in order to build a shelter. The design and heft of the M4X will also serve the hunter very well. This knife will do very well with quartering game by easily chopping through pelvis joints, ligaments, etc.
     Since the M4X can also be considered a last ditch weapon, I tried the knife on some more unique materials. I chopped a pineapple, melon, and finally a coconut to see how the M4X would handle something that more represented a living object. I have to admit; it was a little frightening how easily the M4X destroyed everything I threw at the knife. I would have no reserve using this knife in a defensive manner.
Dislikes
     There are very few changes that I would suggest for this design. While the Shark tooth serrations on my test knife made good notches in wood, their primary design is as their name suggests. The knife can be had with saw teeth, double sided teeth or plain without serrations. Since my use of the knife was primarily for camp chores, the plain variation would have increased the top striking area for a baton. The top notch area is handy for lifting a cooking pot handle in the field, but I also found it destroyed my wooden baton after repeated pounding. Since this knife thrives in the chopping realm, I would suggest keeping the design as basic as possible
for camp use. If your using it to fend off pirates....the inverse may be true as the Shark teeth and top hook
could be handy for inflicting non lethal distraction in a personal protection situation. Also for wood, saw teeth would be the better choice, and for all of the above, double sided serrations would work the best. They are less ominous looking, and cut thick rope the best of all.
Conclusion
     The M4X lived up to its extreme namesake. It outperformed all similarly sized knives that I have tested and easily cut, split, and chopped everything I threw at it. If you are going out into the wilds and need a top notch field knife, with last ditch weapon capability, then look no further than the new Relentless M4X.

To Kill an American
You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.
So I just thought I would write to let them know what an American is, so they would know when they found one.
An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.
An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as Native Americans.
An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.
An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.
An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.
An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.
When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country! As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
Americans welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services.
But they also welcome the least.
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America .
Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom
